It was a nice time and not too cold. We decided we liked it very much, having tea out in the woods dressed like we were somewhere quite distinguished. And we were.

Blazing the Trails
We went on our first High Tea outing today. As is always the case when we go out for a walk, rain was expected. It didn't rain on our tea party, but there certainly was mud on the ground. After getting a late start we walked briskly to a spot down by the Potomac River in Red Rock Wilderness Park. On the menu was PB&J sandwiches, box mix blueberry muffins, and Twining's Earl Grey Tea.
This is us drinking tea. As you can see, Zac is wearing a sports coat and tie. I'm wearing a green taffeta dress, but you can't see that here.
This is me in my green taffeta dress.
Kirke had fare of her own. She didn't end up eating it. I think she was a little distracted by all the new smells.
Looking at the pictures afterward, we realized that we appeared to have had visitors. We also saw a tree that looked like a person. The dryads must have approved of our activities.

It was a nice time and not too cold. We decided we liked it very much, having tea out in the woods dressed like we were somewhere quite distinguished. And we were.

Hey Kristen!
So you did it, i thought it was a grand idea and you did it. I am proud of you... sounds like fun. You look awesome. Can't wait to go on a high tea adventure with you next time i'm out ;)
So i have a question is this group about having tea in the woods or is it about having tea in strange places...a train station for example
Ok Kristen you've started something ;)
I told some girls here at the dorm about you high tea adventure club and now they are adamant about going on a high tea adventure of our own. It won't be in the woods for we do not have those here but we're going to go into the hills behind the school. We're very excited and planning it for next Wednesday, Jenna already has planned the dress she will wear. I will send you pictures afterwards!
Hurray for civilized adventures!
LOVE your dress Kristen... zac ya look okay too... lol;) (this is Lydia, not forsell btw)
Hello Kristen,
This is Tracy, not Forsell. I wanted to know what you would recommend for someone who lives in Wisconsin where the weather is 7 degrees above zero and there is a 1inch layer of ice covered by 4 feet of snow? How about clothing? We would freeze our........well you get the idea. Any suggestions?
